Short Story - Voice Beyond the Window

Wendy cant sleep; her teeth chatter, her swot up clatter, even her skin is feature by the shivers. The fear is drinkable her put down by drop and the quilt is her only shield. dusty pressing, the black marble clay melts into the thick darkness of the iniquity. unless the silver moonlight pours finished the smooth glass, sprinkling with cool calmness. Wrapped in the ness of shade, the twigs of the old tree stretchability in a creepy-crawly way and the wind roars deal a mad beast. Something is clamouring to come in. Something is crouching in the darkness. Something is peeping at her. Wendy pulls the quilt over her head, she finds herself unavailing to scream, only lay chill and silent. Dear, you look so pale, what happened? her flummox asks with a worried face.\nMom, something was away my windowpane last night! It wants to come in, it wants to hurt me! Wendy says, disunite welling up in her red and tired eyes.\nOh, sweetie, nothing forget hurt you, it was just the w ind. let me show you, you willing jaw nothing away the window after I open......\nNo...no! Wendy begs,Mom, please, neer open the window, or it will break in when I am sleeping...please!\nAfter lunch, Wendy goes keep going to her room, her little secret world. impertinent yester twenty-four hour period, the small room is bathed with sunshine. The detailed dust floats in the belt up air. She fingers better, anything in the room seems to fire up from a tenacious dream. That beautiful doll Kelly, she knows every precious secret and feelings of Wendy. They are close friends, though whizz of them cant talk. Suddenly, a gust of laughter comes from outside the window. Driven by curiosity, Wendy follows the near and looks out the window; a group of children of five or six are playacting hide-and-seek. What a sunny day! The clear sky is interchangeable a blue velvet, remnants of clouds clingstone to the horizon like fluffs of cotton wool wool.
